About Cayleigh Blake
Cayleigh Blake, from the south suburbs of Chicago, trained at the School of the Salt Creek Ballet in Westmont working her way into their pre-professional company by the age of 16. While there, she performed corps and solo roles in full-length ballets such as Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in Wonderland, and The Nutcracker. Ms. Blake has also trained with Wes Chapman, Roger Van Fleteran, Shawn Black and Margi Cole at the Alabama Ballet Summer Program. Immediately after graduating high school, Ms. Blake joined Van Collins’ RASA Dance Chicago. She has been in the company for eight years and teaches for several studios throughout the western suburbs. Ms. Blake has choreographed for Regional Dance America Festival as well as for Van Collins’ original ballet, With a Christmas Heart. Ms. Blake is currently working towards a Master of Business Administration degree while teaching and performing.
